Dr. Jackie Alder (E-mail) B.Sc. (Hons, Lakehead), P. Grad. Dip. (Business, Central Queensland), Ph.D. (James Cook)

Jackie Alder is a research associate with the Fisheries Centre. Her research interests include fisheries policy, community based management of marine areas, MPA management, coastal planning and management. She has worked throughout Southeast Asia, the IndoPacific, Australia and Canada.

She is a member of the editorial advisory board for Coastal Management and reviews manuscripts for a number of journals.
