Remarks:

FC members and others interested in the topics are encouraged as always to attend the weekly Friday seminar from 11 to 12:30, and the coffee break prior to the seminar, at 10:30am in the AERL foyer.

The grading and course structure of FISH 500 are currently under revision. Please check back for updates.

Official credit students are expected to attend every Friday seminar in both terms, beginning Sept 10, 2010, as well as the Monday 9-10 am discussion session in both terms, beginning Sept 13. Friday seminars typically end about 12 noon, though questions may go longer. The Monday sessions will review and critique the seminars and discuss what makes for good presentations.

Students enrolled in the class are expected to give individual Friday seminar presentations, typically in Term 2 of the course.
